Easy Fundraising
Team Saver Cards is an opportunity for our clients to help their friends and family earn discounts at hundreds of north county merchants while supporting your family in receiving services through Autistically Inclined.
Here's how it works: -We buy each card for $1. -You check out as many cards as you'd like. -You sell each card for $10. -$9 goes directly to your services at Autistically Inclined and $1 covers the cost of the card. -You can return any cards you do not sell, within 2 weeks. -You can check out cards as often as you'd like. |
Tips and Tricks: Just Ask!
You never know who is happy to give unless you ask! You may be surprised at how much friends and family want to support their loved ones.
Try writing a letter, an email, making a phone call, or asking someone face to face.
We tend to feel the fear most in the anticipation of the event. Once you ask one person, just one person, you may be surprised at how easy the actual event of asking actually was.
Suggested format:
Most people don't understand how much you really sacrifice for your child. They also don't understand the impact therapy can have on a family.
Give a few specific examples of what you want to help your child with and what has already started to help your child.
Briefly explain all the ways in which you are currently helping your child. Create a clear picture of the impact this has on your family.
Spell out multiple ways your friends and family can help (e.g. cook a meal, clean your house, donate funds, volunteer in your child's therapy program, babysit, etc.). They often would love to help but don't know how they can be of help.
