How to make the floor

Step-By-Step Instructions

Supplies

Step One:
If applying over tile, use double‐sided carpet tape roll to make carpet pad stick to tile to avoid slipping.
*
If applying to tile, leave about an inch of space on each side between the wall and the padding's edge.
*
If applying over carpet, cut pad flush against wall to avoid movement.
*
Do not use any glue between carpet pad and linoleum as it makes the linoleum bubble.
*
Cut the linoleum about 2 inches too big on each wall and lay it over the carpet padding.
*
Place a Grip Rite 1 3/4" square cap roofing nail every foot around the perimeter, tightly attaching the vinyl to the wall.
*
Or staple the vinyl over existing baseboard.
*
Nail trim over vinyl or existing baseboard to finish the flooring.
*
Run, jump, and play your heart out!
*
Be careful not to place objects that may cause damage to the floor.
*
Tables, trampolene's, desks, etc. may cause the floor to rip.
*
Solution:
Attach a wide wooden base to furniture to prevent tearing.
*
