*Our kids have a hard time being flexible and open to change.

*Those who are on the autism spectrum also have a challenging time relating with people.

*People are the most unpredictable things on the planet.

*Our kids gravitate toward predictability and away from unpredictability.

*Lining up objects, talking about factual information, abiding by routine, wanting to use the same routes from point A to point B, doing math, utilizing the alphabet, and walking in circles are all examples of creating predictability.

*By creating a safe YES environment where it is easy for us to give our kids the control they are seeking, it will help them relax enough to be able to connect with us in a deeper way.

*When they are able to connect with us, they are able to learn much faster.
